Karsten Solberg is a Project Architect at CJS Architects. She brings a background in fine art and design as well as architectural history. Through these lenses Karsten’s design has focused on built work as a compositional element to be understood within a larger planned context. Her project experience has concentrated on campus planning and design and includes recreational facilities, student centers, student housing and master planning. Karsten has worked extensively with higher education clients in programming and space-planning efforts in new build and adaptive re-use projects. Karsten received a BA in Art History and Fine Art from Colby College and an M. Arch from Rhode Island School of Design.
