Mariam Yaqub

Project Manager

Mariam is a Project Manager with CJS. She came to CJS Architects with architectural work experience in Islamabad, Providence, RI and Binghamton, NY. She completed her B.Sc. Arch and M.Arch degrees from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI during which she was a recipient of two architecture scholarships AIA Rhode Island and Raj Saksena. Her Graduate Thesis “Open Source Architecture: Redefining Residential Architecture in Islamabad” won the RWU Thesis Award.


Recent projects at CJS Architects include the development of the Inner Loop Parcels; Micro-Townhouses and Work-force Housing along with Geva Education and Engagement Center. She also worked on the Strong Neighborhood of Play: Museum expansion and mixed-use residential buildings. Mariam continues to fulfil her passion for social architecture and placemaking with her work at the Community Design Center of Rochester where she serves as a Research Analyst.
