Tejal Patankar

Intern Designer

Tejal is an Intern Designer with CJS Architects. She is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture (MArch) and an Advanced Certificate in Sustainability from the University at Buffalo. She worked as a Graduate Student Assistant for the UB’s Communications and Public Programs Department and managed the school’s social media with her team for a year. Tejal has worked as a Freelancer Designer for commercial and residential Interior Design projects after completing a Bachelor of Architecture from Mumbai, India. During these years, she was also engaged in various Architectural Competitions with her peers and friends including designing of institutional, energy efficient and housing- related buildings. As an Intern Designer she wants to explore the field of Architecture and Interior Design with a more practical understanding by applying Sustainable and Functional Design Solutions. Tejal's approach towards designing built spaces has always been functional and environmentally responsible, which she would like to learn more about with the leaders she will be working with.
