Lockport YMCA offers new resources to community
LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Lockport YMCA is finally open and providing countless resources to the Lockport Community.
The area's previous YMCA was built in the 1920s and was severely lacking in terms of building resources and what it could offer to the community.
After a project 20 years in the making and 14 months of construction, the Lockport YMCA is finally offering its state of the art facilities to a growing number of clients. The client base has grown three times its previous size in just one month.
The fully accessible facility offers a lap pool, splash pad, a fitness center, multi-use gym, indoor running track, rock climbing wall, fitness classes, childcare and so much more.
