Eastman Place & Sibley Music Library

The multi-use building houses shops restaurants, offices, public wintergarden and the prestigious Sibley Music Library of the Eastman School of Music.

The structure covers the complete block with the exception of a set back from a major intersection of Main and Gibbs Streets. This set back provides open space for an urban park.

On the adjacent corner the Eastman Theater with its massive convex neo-classic façade stands as centerpiece of the Cultural District. Eastman Place by contrast has concave, glazed façade as foil and counterpart complementing the theater.

The five story, 120,000 square foot structure is constructed with high strength steel, Indiana Limestone, Carnelian Granite and standing seam copper roofs.
