Working with Gilbane Development Company and Taylor the Builders, CJS Architects designed two mixed use buildings. Offering 217 beds, this was also a CM-at-risk project. Each building has commercial retail space on the first floor and market rate apartments on the upper floors.

A total of 69,000 square feet of flexible space has been provided. The space includes a mix of studio, one and two bedroom apartments totaling 154 apartment units in 168,500 square feet. The larger of the two buildings also houses below grade parking for residential tenants, and a commercial tenant for Barnes & Noble bookstore which also functions as the University of Rochester’s campus bookstore.
