Bio
Mr. Schneider is a German trained architect and brings to every project his diligence for details and architectural cohesiveness, following the incorporation of design, programming and chosen materials.  His design philosophy follows the path of discourse between built environment and building site.  He is involved from design through construction documents and construction administration to ensure the success of the project.  Currently, he is leading the restoration of Graycliff, a Frank Lloyd Wright designed summer home, located south of Buffalo New York.

Mr. Schneider has been a visiting critic for juries at Hobart and William Smith Colleges as well as a juror for many AIA design awards.  He has been a key presenter at the University of Buffalo lead Colloquium about the Graycliff Restoration in 2004.  He was an invited panelist for the Environmental Leadership Symposium held at the Convention Center in Rochester.

Mr. Schneider serves currently as the chairperson for Design Review & Historic Preservation Board for the Town of Pittsford.  He was also instrumental in developing the design based Zoning Code for the Town of Pittsford.

Dirk was elected to join the PathStone Development Corporation (PDC) Board of Directors well as Chairperson for PathStone Housing Action Corporation (PHAC). The PDC is the affiliate of PathStone Corporation that is responsible for the development of affordable housing projects throughout the PathStone footprint.
