The Mentholatum at 1360 Niagara Street is a real head-turner during the day and is just as impressive at night. Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation converted the former Mentholatum Company into a mix of apartments and 4,107 sq.ft. of retail space in a one-story wing on the north side of the building. The $19 million project designed by CJS Architects welcomed its first tenants early this year.

One of the more unusual barges in the world is on its way to Buffalo. The GlassBarge is a 30’ x 80’ canal barge that is outfitted with glassmaking equipment.
The Patrick J. Paladino Memorial Boathouse has been clad. The two-story rowing boathouse, located at 405 Ohio Street, has reached the finale of Phase II – the structure has been fully enclosed. Once complete, the five bay structure will house 75 shells, with additional space for training, locker rooms, and boat repair facilities.
