Resurgence Brewery is pretty much open at this point, bringing with it a fantastic brewery experience to the Old First Ward. The wait was worth it for this one – a walk through Resurgence II is pretty spectacular. As far as local breweries go, the place is giant. But the owners have managed to tame the unwieldy space by creating a variety of rooms and levels that can close off from one another.
What could a restaurant or permanent catering service mean to the future of the Central Terminal?
"It is critical to the life blood of the building," said Paul Lang, Central Terminal Restoration Corp. vice chairman. "Getting a restaurateur or caterer would be a huge vote of confidence in the building, I can't over state the importance of this next phase."
A tangible sign of development at the Central Terminal — the last architectural titan yet to be restored in Buffalo — will be announced today, raising hopes among its enthusiasts that even more improvements will come to the 1926 art deco marvel.
ITHACA, N.Y. — It's been a little while since the last update on the Chain Works District. On the one hand, it seems impossible to not pay attention to — when fully built out, the project would offer over 1.7 million square feet of renovated and new mixed-use space, including 915 residential units. For comparison, the project is more than twice the size of the next largest project in the local area, Cornell's 2,000 bed North Campus dorm expansion.
It’s not just the distillery, rock climbing wall or craft brewery that will make the Cooperage stand out on the Ohio Street corridor.
